December in Kaua’i is notoriously accompanied by a lot of rainy days, so along with some fun scheduled events, it can also be a good idea to consider some indoor day-to-day activities.
For example, visiting a museum or watching surf on the North Shore are two things that can be extremely interesting on a gloomy day.
Surf breaks pick up dramatically in the winter and it is not uncommon to see six-foot waves or taller.
Or escape the thunderstorms into the quiet corridors of the Kaua'i Museum, centrally located in downtown Lihue. You'll find a wide range of historic and contemporary art by regional artists.
BOTTOM LINE: I can’t believe December is already here, but the wintery activities have definitely been planned out and are here for our entertainment!
