December in Kaua’i is notoriously accompanied by a lot of rainy days, so along with some fun scheduled events, it can also be a good idea to consider some indoor day-to-day activities.
For example, visiting a museum or watching surf on the North Shore are two things that can be extremely interesting on a gloomy day.
Surf breaks pick up dramatically in the winter and it is not uncommon to see six-foot waves or taller.
Or escape the thunderstorms into the quiet corridors of the Kaua'i Museum, centrally located in downtown Lihue. You'll find a wide range of historic and contemporary art by regional artists.
BOTTOM LINE: I can’t believe December is already here, but the wintery activities have definitely been planned out and are here for our entertainment!
If you’re here visiting for the holidays this year and find yourself wanting to live in the area permanently, I’d love to have a conversation with you sometime soon about Kaua’i real estate.
