The Old Kapa’a Town Art Walk and Multi-Cultural Celebration is a popular event spanning from the First Hawaiian Church to Kela's Glass on Kuhio Highway. It has been a favorite of both locals and visitors for many years, offering delicious food from food trucks, local crafts, treasures, and the opportunity to learn about the offerings of local non-profit organizations. Starting in the summer of 2023, the event now features live cultural entertainment, including Hawaiian ukulele lessons, Filipino traditional dances, Japanese Taiko drums, Hawaiian hula performances, and more, showcasing the diverse cultures of the island. It's a monthly event filled with live music and a lot of fun, sponsored by the Hawaii Tourism Authority and the Kaua'i Visitors Bureau through the Community Enrichment Program.

The annual Poipu Food & Wine Festival, celebrates Kaua'i's culinary scene. Events include the Kaua'i Culinary Market + Chef Demo, cooking classes at the Monkeypod Provision Cottage (with the Kaua'i County Farm Bureau), and the Pa`ina featuring small plates and wine pairings. Renowned chefs like Belinda Leong, Michelle Karr-Ueoka, and Melissa Miranda, along with Hawaii's popular chefs, will be part of the festival.
Rice Street Block Party

Come celebrate Downtown Līhuʻe, the heart of Kaua'i, with a family-friendly Block Party on Rice Street. This event includes three entertainment stages, a keiki (children's) area, over 75 local Kaua'i Made vendors, food trucks, and more. It's a fantastic way to kick off your Halloween festivities and enjoy the community spirit on Rice Street. The event takes place from 2 pm to 10 pm, with Rice Street closed from Umi Street to Kalena Street. Residents can enter at Kalena Street.
