Another month, another period of planning for you to do with friends and family! With the holiday season nearing, the fun festivities are about to start gearing up.

There are so many different activities for you to get up on the Garden Island, that surely everyone can find something fun to get up to this month!

Kaua’i Veterans Parade and Fair
November 5
9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Downtown Lihue
The parade will start on Hardy street at Convention Hall, proceed South on Rice street, head through downtown Līhue, and end at Hoolako Street at the soccer field at Vidinha Stadium. The fair will be held on Hoolako Street at the soccer field at Vidinha stadium featuring local vendors. A short program to honor Veterans and live entertainment will take place. The parade and fair will be jointly hosted by the RSBA and the Kauai Veterans Council.

Old Koloa Sugar Mill Run
November 12
7 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Koloa
This is Kauai's premier 5-Km, 10-Km, half marathon runs, and non-competitive 5-K walk. The half marathon will start at 7 a.m., the 5-K run and walk will start at 7:15 a.m., and the 10-K run will start at 7:30 a.m. The run will include a continental breakfast and a T-shirt. The continental breakfast will be served as the first finishers arrive at about 8:00 a.m. The winners will be announced at about 9:30 a.m. Awards will go to overall male and female finishers and medals to age group winners. Medals will be provided to all half-marathon finishers.

HCT Presents "Seussical!"
November 18 - November 27
Kaua’i War Memorial Convention Hall
Hawaii Children’s Theatre presents “Seussical” based on the works of the beloved Dr. Suess! “Suessical” is a full-scale musical production for all ages, with dance, song, and bright costumes! Opening Friday, November 18th, and running 2 weekends through Sunday, November 27 at the Kaua’i War Memorial Convention Hall. Don't miss this classic family show - rated PG! Showtimes: Fridays & Saturdays at 7 p.m., Saturday matinees at 2 p.m., and Sunday matinees at 4 p.m. 

Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival "Kauai Style" (30th Annual)
November 27
1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Royal Sonesta Kauai Resort

The festival will feature some of Hawaii's finest artists in the Slack Key Guitar Genre over a period of four hours from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. in the beautiful ballroom of the Royal Sonesta Kaua’i Resort. Some of the featured artists include Ledward Kaapana, George Kuo, Kawika Kahiapo, Kailua Moon, Dwight Kanae, Kamuela Kahoano, Paul Togioka, Cindy Combs, Michael Keale, and others. The management crew of the event hopes to also include some native crafters along with some food vendors available!
