Kaua‘i Pickleball Association Tournament in Kalawai
Pickleball is a sport that has been gaining extreme popularity as of late and the first three-day tournament took place at the Kalawai Park tennis courts!

Ready, Set, Go From Ha‘ena to Hanalei
The Hanalei Canoe Club announced their 40th Ha‘ena to Hanalei Run (or walk) will take place on Saturday, June 4. There will be an eight-mile run or walk, a half marathon, a 5K run, or a one-mile youth run.

Battle of the Bands Concert
The Aloha Angels organization sponsored a rockin' Battle of the Bands concert for the Anuikapono Charter School, granting some of the bands scholarships!

This Summer’s “Ocean of Possibilities” (June 5-July 30)
The Hawaiʻi State Public Library System invites everyone to join their summer reading program! It includes online and in-person activities, author talks, opportunities to earn reading rewards, and more. 

Office of Hawaiian Affairs’ Short Film Wins Award
“Mana i Mauli Ola,” a 25-minute film featuring stories and perspectives from the Native Hawaiian community, has won a Telly Award!
